Norwegian military small-arms & blades

Small, seemingly extremely simple and insignificant – but beauty lies in the details. It is a lovely little saber! Again a not model regulated saber, but probably a saber that has belonged to an artillery officer attached to the general staff in Norway around 1880. The scabbard fits the blade perfectly, but seems a little old fashioned for the 1880’s. Final dating is therefor difficult.
