M1892/1904 Non-com Officer’s Saber
From 1895 on is was decided that this saber was to be used by all the non commissioned officers in the Norwegian army. The model from 1892 had rings mounted on the scabbards for attaching it. From 1904 these rings were replaced by a buckle on the inside of the scabbard. The saber was produced by Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk and was in use at The Kings Guard until 1980.
