M1872 Underoffisersabel – non-com officer’s saber

I tend to like the big & heavy stuff, the enlisted man’s cavalry sabers and thing like that. But this little saber is so neat, so simple, so elegant that I actually like it – a lot!

A simple no nonsense hilt, no great etchings on the blade – just a straight forward saber that fulfills the uniform code and at the same time might keep the owner out of harms way when and if.
